Data You Give Us Directly
The search forms on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party search provider that supplies sponsored results. We do not store a separate copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to reply.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, our host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to keep the site available, troubleshoot errors, and understand which Alameda County pages visitors use. Cookies or similar technologies may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use the data described above to run the site, fix technical problems, measure traffic, and improve page content. We do not sell a visitor list. We also do not create individual user profiles from site activity.

Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support Alameda County People Search process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose data if valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Because Alameda County People Search does not offer user accounts, there is no site password or account profile for us to store.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete what we can locate.
Your Data Rights
California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. California's Delete Act also created the DROP platform for sending deletion requests to registered data brokers; that state platform is separate from this site. Because we hold very little visitor data, most requests are limited to our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Alameda County, city offices, courts, or California agencies are outside our control; removal or correction requests for those records must go to the custodian office.
